The Cheese #59 🧀 - Autonomous Agents, March Madness, and Tom Brady
Lots of moving pieces
Big day today, part of a big month
It’s been one of those weeks! Very busy, ending each day with a TO DO list bigger than the one I started the day with. I love and equally despise weeks like this. It’s very tough to catch your breath and feel like you are accomplishing what you need to, but when you look back at the week in the rear-view mirror, ALL of the accomplishments give an absolutely great feeling.
I am actually writing this a couple of hours before you are reading it, as opposed to a day or two prior like normal. Why? Because it’s been busy!
We are in Milledgeville today, prepping for our Whatnot Warehouse Show this evening. I picked Cameron up from the airport yesterday afternoon, and we did half of our day at the warehouse. Procurement team was also at the warehouse yesterday, meeting with one of our vendors so it was great to see them.
The month is tracking to be a great one so far, not quite sure if it will be our new best month ever in company history, but we absolutely have a shot. The past week and a half have been challenging with new member acquisition. Combination of a less exciting intro offer and the usual Facebook Ads ebbs and flows. Saving grace is our March Madness Sale. In previous years, we would drop a group of products every week at a sale discount. This year, we decided NOT to do that (given our challenges in keeping up with demand on inventory). Instead, we curated a limited edition Mystery Box drop each Friday of the month. 200 box drops at $250 a piece. Each week is a differently curated box. The first drop was last Friday at noon. We sold out in 23 minutes. Next drop should be around when this email is going out.
The autonomous agent wars continues to evolve fast AF. Perplexity announced (not available yet, just a waitlist) Personal Computer. Always on agent that can live on a Mac Mini. The fact that it’s moving so fast makes me think that surely there will be a better solution than OpenClaw available soon. To me, the issue with OpenClaw is the amount of time it takes to build an agent and how a non-technical person (like me) can really mess up that building process with the end result being a far from optimal agent.
Ok, jumping back to help where possible with today’s Warehouse Whatnot show, let’s get into the rest!
Audit Expectations
Kim and Evan complete their series with part 3 on Audits. This last part jumps into what should actually be included in an audit.
BattlGames
BattlGames Season 3 Sponsorships are still available for both Brands and B2B companies. Comment on this post, reply to this email, or shoot me a DM somewhere if you are interested in being a part of the upcoming season.
