The Cheese #57 🧀 - Miami, Clawbots, and Audits
Wrapping up February with a bang...
<OK Google, Play Miami by Will Smith>
Rolling 7 deep to Miami today for a couple of Whatnot shows. Tomorrow, we are participating in Blade City’s collaboration show. Live Whatnots starting at noon and running to about 10pm. Our slot will run between around 4:30pm - 7:00pm. We averaged $13.6k an hour when we did this show in October with them. While the show was a record show for us ($31,346 show total), it was basically break even. Plan this time is to take our learnings and run both a higher revenue show and one that is in line with our normal profitability.
We will then run an additional show on Sunday from Miami. Purpose of this show is more of a ‘just in case’ we fail at profitability on the first show; this show can pick up the pieces and all but guarantee a very profitable Miami trip. Because taking 7 people down to Miami for a weekend is not inexpensive. Wish us luck!
Even though you are reading this today (Friday), I am doing this write up yesterday (Thursday morning). As of right now on the Whatnot front, we have 4 shows left for the month (including the big Miami show on the 28th). We already beat last month, currently sitting at $238k, which puts us at our 4th best month ever, needing another $38k to set a record. It will obviously all come down to the Miami show to determine if we set a record month or not lol.
Membership is scaling slowly still with the only limitation being us, limited on first box inventory until March 4th. Churn among Membership is also down 5% MoM which is really cool. Amazon is up 18% YoY for the month with a few days left which is AMAZING.
Business overall for the month has been phenomenal. February is up 18% MoM and up 37% YoY. Absolutely love being in this growth stage of the business again. Only possible because of the team we assembled that are all executing their roles flawlessly.
The world of autonomous agents continues to move super quick. While I have several friends and peers that have all jumped in, I still have not found the time to get started testing one. Amer dropped an article on the security concerns with OpenClaw (dropping below), my friend Andrei is suggesting I go with NanoClaw, and Perplexity just dropped ‘Computer’. Exciting times, but the writing on the wall for future entry-level positions is pretty clear…

I Love OpenClaw. I'm Not Installing It Yet.

What an Audit Should Actually Be (Before It Starts)
Kim and Evan contributed part 1 of a 3-part series on Ad Account Audits. Agencies LOVE to offer audits (creates top of funnel leads for them), so my two favorite Huff N Puffers drop some MAJOR knowledge.
