The Cheese #23 🧀 - Keto Fails, Whatnot Wins, and $7M Livestreams with AI

I am getting used to this lack of travel lol.

No travel is giving me the time I need to both grind and also be there for the little guy.

Gonna start with the Keto journey first this week. I was crushing it, hitting new lows, and then last Saturday I went to a pool party. I told my wife on the drive there that I was hoping I would stay strong and not fall off the wagon. Thought I was good until I saw the lineup. Publix Sandwiches. Fried Chicken Bites. Chips and Dip. Frozen Margarita Machine. No chance. So we took two steps back, but have been back on track since. Current Weight is at 137.2. Lowest so far in this journey, but would already be at my goal if I could just behave.

Next up as if you didnt know already, Whatnot. Things are moving along. Jace did his usual 3 morning shows this week. Morning Shows do NOT hit in the same way as an evening show but he is still picking everything up very quickly. Hope his schedule allows him to do some evening or weekend shows because he is going to crush it. Joey is making his SHOW DEBUT tomorrow at 9am. It will be our first morning weekend show so excited to see how it performs. Plan is to get him a few more shows next week. Our biggest hurdle at the moment is having the staff to work as showrunner (running the backend during the show). The good news is we just hired a new Marketing and Software Intern that should start next week. We also have gotten through most of Round 1 of interviews for our Marketing Coordinator position. Next week we are planning to start the first round of interviews for our Dedicated Show Runner position. We are building the channel, going as fast as we can.

New Member acquisition seems to be catching some acceptability metrics (acceptable CAC) as it scales. Definitely more in line with our normal acceptable CACs of $80~, not anywhere near the $40 CAC we were seeing with the Bags. Bags will absolutely make a comeback though, must revisit, probably next month. At least thats the hope. Hope being in part on the assumption that this case offer will get us to the numbers we need to be at for new member acquisition.
