The Cheese #15 🧀

I am in Miami at Commerce Roundtable.

As you are reading this, I am in Miami at Commerce Roundtable. Got in a day early and spent yesterday recording a batch of ASOM podcast episodes and I’ll head back home super early tomorrow.

Still NOT live with our AppLovin test launch. Dealing with a pixel issue. Fun.

Last week we did our first WhatNot Live Shopping Show. Ran for 2 hours and did $3400 in revenue. $1700 an hour is not bad for the platform, but we need to figure out how to improve that and scale. We did/are doing 2 shows this week (one has not occurred yet as I type this). Well, we blew our first show out of the water with Tuesday’s. 2.5 hours and $7000 in revenue. $2800 an hour is quite an improvement. We were able to apply some learnings towards this second one and I am excited to see this grow. Will provide some more info next week.

As I type this, I am at 150.5 pounds, so close to getting under 150. I would have already been under, but I had a slip-up on Easter (I accidentally ate bread, pasta, a sugar cookie, a donut, and a Reese’ peanut butter egg). Anyway, as you read this I am sure I have had my fair share of carbs today already and will get back on the wagon tomorrow when I get home.

Why I Refuse to Be Called an Entrepreneur in 2025

I really hate the word ‘Entrepreneur’ and I break down why… pretty much just a rant. Check the full article here.

They hit $17M revenue in just 90 DAYS

I am yet to use Lovable, but I know several people using it, and I want to jump into it soon.
Apparently it has the ability to possibly disrupt the web development world. Came across this post that breaks down how they reached $17M ARR in just 90 days. Catch all the details here.

BattlGames is happening this September (9/10 - 9/13) in Savannah.

We are currently 44% sold out, so there are still great opportunities for both brands and B2B companies. Feel free to shoot me a note if you are interested. You can see more here:
