Well, we launched The Cheese! This is the first send and it’s exciting to have it officially launched.  As you are reading this I am headed to Vegas for a weekend with my Dad (I do this in January every year). He will go back home on Sunday and I will stay there for the start of SHOT Show.

The flow of the newsletter, at least the plan of it, is to have a blurb from me on what’s front of mind or something that I am working on.

After that, will have a couple of the best recent articles from Online Queso. Sometimes I will be the author and sometimes it will be a guest author.

And then we will close it out with something we saw on either LinkedIn or X that was worth sharing (for one reason or another lol).

Pretty simple.

Last week I did a breakdown experience series with four brands that I have spent money with personally. One of them completely shit the bed, and that was Last Crumb.

UPDATE: The CEO reached out earlier this week, apologized, and gave a partial refund.

To be fair, the second round of social posts occurred the morning of the reach-out, so not sure if that had something to do with it.

Another one from the series of brand experiences. This time, Omaha Steaks absolutely crushes it. Take notes on how to handle a situation, you can tell these guys care and why they view the customer to be at the top of their organization. I didn't just make that up, that's actually something they say and is a testament to the culture they have and the value they put on their customers.

A lot of people are talking about Zuck going on the Rogan podcast. From memes to unhinged people posting about how the world is over if Meta gets rid of fact-checking.

I actually still have not listened to it in its entirety because listening to a full Rogan podcast is quite a time commitment.

So if you are like me, this thread on X is nice because it basically gives the CliffsNotes and even includes the video clips from the sections.
